PRESS RELEASE: Island Time Sunset Charity Cruise to Benefit ARC animals! -- Monday September 3rd, 2012
Of all people, it is the pet owners who are keenly aware that animals cannot speak for themselves. It is because of this that many animals fall prey to abuse and abandonment by humans. Although there are a number of animal rescues around, they alone cannot handle the huge task of making sure that all animals are protected from abuse and abandonment. This is where you can help. September 22, 2012, Animal Rescue Center of Bay County will be holding a Charity Sunset Cruise for the benefit of the animals in their care, hosted by Island Time Cruises. The benefit cruise will board at 5:00pm and will leave the dock by 5:30 pm, to return by 7:30pm. The 2-hour cruise will be held on the “Island Time”, a 55-foot long catamaran and will feature entertainment, complimentary drinks, and hors d'oeuvres for guests. Beer and wine will also be available. The catamaran is coast guard certified and able to carry up to 77 passengers. The “Island Time” is docked at 3605 Thomas Drive, Panama City Beach, FL 32408 and can be found right next to where the old Treasure Ship used to be. Animal Rescue Center of Bay County, Inc. was founded in September 2006. The organization is a non-profit, all volunteer group that is focused on helping animals abandoned at local area shelters. The animals under the care of ARC are kept in private foster homes until they are adopted. For only $25, you can help to support the animals and have a wonderful fun-filled evening. 100% of the proceeds for the evening are donated to ARC by Island Time Cruises. For more information and to purchase tickets, please go to AdoptBay.Com. Contact: Animal Rescue Center of Bay County PO Box 36303 Panama City, FL 32412 AdoptBay.com 850-387-0224
